Red Ochre works to support individuals and organisations delivering economic and social change across the UK and worldwide. Our mission is to provide appropriate, imaginative and innovative education, support, training and programmes to individuals and organisations so that they are better able to deliver their own economic, social and environmental objectives. The organisation has three members of full time staff and a network of experienced associates. Our team has a wide range of expertise and experience in financial, managerial and technical fields. We are professionals with complementary skill sets gained in a number of commercial, social and not-for-profit sectors.

Red Ochre is also a social enterprise and our primary activities revolve around giving back to the community and improving the environment, as well as constantly striving to improve the social impact of our work. We run entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship training programmes in fields such as finance, business skills, social enterprise, marketing and communications, business models and idea generation. Our consultants have started and managed charities, social and environmental enterprises and commercial businesses. We believe entrepreneurship is not just about starting up profit maximising companies but a way to address diverse social, economic and environmental needs. We have worked with organisations across the UK and internationally and we have delivered training to over five thousand individuals. We have a diverse team who have lived and worked in many countries around the world. Our approach is grounded in practical reality and is backed by many years of having “done it” ourselves.

We focus on working with communities and groups to solve social and economic problems from 'within' and reduce the barriers to adult learning that come from disadvantage, rather than imposing solutions from 'outside'. We are accredited with Investors in People and Customer First quality systems and have won numerous awards for our work.
